In wireless communication, band refers to a specific range of radio frequencies.

For example, the PCS "1900" band spans radio frequencies from 1850 MHz to 1995 MHz.

Currently, wireless communication service providers in the US use the 700, 750, 800, 850, 1700, 1900, and 2500 bands.
