Updated: clarified start date
Starting December 17, T-Mobile has suspended the handset upgrade fee that it charges all customers who upgrade from one phone to another. The fee, which was $18, is being suspended indefinitely, and is not part of a holiday promotion. The fee will no longer be required by any customer, no matter which phone they upgrade to, whether it be via retail or online sales channels.
