When will ----- be released?
When we know the planned release date for a phone, it will usually appear on the info page for that phone as "Planned Availability", just under the intro text. If the timeframe is vague, such as "3rd Quarter", that is all we know; we probably don't know anything more specific.
In the mobile phone industry, especially in the United States, release dates are never set in stone. In fact, delays are the norm. The "planned" release date for a phone is frequently set back by weeks or months, even at the last-minute, by issues that are found during testing. It is not uncommon for a phone launch to be pushed back a month or more, as close to a week before planned release.
Therefore, all planned release dates should be taken with a grain of salt. No one - not even the people "in charge" - can say for certain when a phone will be released. There are simply too many variables that can and do cause delays.
